Narratives of the Roma People is an initiative
of MEF (Photographic Expression
Movement), in partnership with Costume
Colossal (Colossal Costume), which uses
image as a tool for expressing and promoting
the Roma identity.
Through videos and photographic portraits,
community members themselves
shape the narrative, assuming the role of
authors, artists, and creators of their own
image.
The project aims to celebrate the traditions,
knowledge, and customs of Roma
culture, showcasing stories of resilience
and success, and promoting inclusion,
equality, and respect for cultural diversity.
